Greetings from IQYA!!
Consider This...
You joined
a call center. You were a topper. Best in C-sat/FCR and AHT. We are talking roof
hitting numbers!!
And you also have an accent that is everyone envy’s. And so you are promoted
to a “Comm. Trainer” or a “Voice Coach” or whatever fancy name your company has
given you. Two years pass by. You are called for an interview to a different company.
You went to the interview because the ad said “Wanted Softskills Trainer”….hmmm...and
they asked you all Grammar related questions!!! You tried your best to answer. You couldn’t.
Because what you have been doing for the last 2 years was what you thought Comm.
Training. The outside world has different definitions and job descriptions for a
comm. Trainer. Some corporates have a
weird categorization on who does what or who should do what.
The
question is – are you wrong OR are they right?
Please post
you Replies on - If you are Comm. Trainer or a Voice Coach or a Softskills
Trainer in your organization –
1. “WHAT DO
YOU ACTUALLY DO”?
2. “WHAT KIND
OF COMPETENCIES ARE YOU EXPECTED TO HAVE”?
3. “WHAT ARE
THE RESULTS YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ACHIEVE”?
A lot is
achieved when we know where we are going as opposed to just walking on.
So, help
me cement the image of “YOU – The Corporate
Trainer”.
