Who Am I?

Greetings from IQYA!!

Consider This...

You joined a call center. You were a topper. Best in C-sat/FCR and AHT. We are talking roof hitting numbers!!
And you also have an accent that is everyone envy’s. And so you are promoted to a “Comm. Trainer” or a “Voice Coach” or whatever fancy name your company has given you. Two years pass by. You are called for an interview to a different company.
You went to the interview because the ad said “Wanted Softskills Trainer”….hmmm...and they asked you all Grammar related questions!!! You tried your best to answer. You couldn’t. Because what you have been doing for the last 2 years was what you thought Comm. Training. The outside world has different definitions and job descriptions for a comm. Trainer.  Some corporates have a weird categorization on who does what or who should do what.

The question is – are you wrong OR are they right?

Please post you Replies on - If you are Comm. Trainer or a Voice Coach or a Softskills Trainer in your organization –

1.      “WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO”?
2.      “WHAT KIND OF COMPETENCIES ARE YOU EXPECTED TO HAVE”?
3.      “WHAT ARE THE RESULTS YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ACHIEVE”?

A lot is achieved when we know where we are going as opposed to just walking on.
So, help me cement the image of “YOU – The Corporate Trainer”.

It's finally here!!

My first blog on what really matters. "Training". Skillset Training. It has been a my dream to reach out to the Training community especially Corporate Trainers. Taking some notes from my linked post, an observation and experience in the Corporate environment there are some very critical situations that we Trainers experience.

And what is that?

So you are a "COMMUNICATION TRAINER"? What is the meaning of communication training? What is soft skills training? Are you a behavioral trainer?  What is Voice and accent Training? Are communication training and Voice and accent the same or different? Do you train on English Grammar? Are you an English Language Trainer? Are all the above same or different?

And more importantly....What are you?

Communications Trainer - Voice and Accent Trainer - Softskills Trainer - Behavioral Trainer - English Language Trainer - Corporate Trainer etc.

Feel free to post your comment on - What you define yourself and why you think that is that.

CHEERS!!!
